My baby girl had to get her vaccines today=(
She did as well as you can expect any baby to and has done pretty well throughout the day.
I was a bit worried going into the appointment but Blair came with us so that was comforting. I had to hold Selah while they poked her and that was really hard. Instead of looking at the needle I looked into her eyes and the look of shock as the nurse poked her broke my heart. I am getting sad just picturing it. I kept it together though and didn’t cry (unfortunately the same could not be said for Selah).
Selah was super sleepy when we got home. And is eating often but not in larhe quantities. As the day progressed she loved to be swaddled up but seemed to be a bit upset lots of the time. She is doing alright though and seems to be returning to her normal self quickly.
She now weighs 10 pounds 7 ounces and is a length I can’t remember haha. She is healthy and right on track with everything so that is all good.
It is hard to believe she is already 2 months old and in the same breath ONLY 2 months old. We adjusted so fast to having her around and can not imagine life without her. She is such a gift from God.
Selah has been sitting up and supporting her own head for some time now but she is becoming more skilled and refined everyday. Her smes really erupted a week or two ago and we love the intentional smiles we get. Selah’s favorite thing layely has been chomping on her fists and she is able to find her hands more easily as the days progress, although she cannot always find them which can be a bit frustrating at times for her. She makes the most hilarious sucking or grunting sounds.
We took these pictures on her 2 month ‘birthday’ and there are so many cute and funny ones I have to include.
